count your blessings and enjoy the little moments that make u happy

Change of plans

At the beginning of last w
eek I got told that I sucked at doing man jobs so I almost lost my job. We decided that I could work inside the house and do cleaning stuff. I was kinda depressed at the beginning, but after a couple days I realized that it was all better for me. I do suck at being a man hahaha and working inside the house is so much more chill. I just listen to my ipod and clean all day. I actually enjoy what i do and I don't have to sit outside in the sun all day anymore. No more farmers tan YAY!!

Good stuff for a missionary

Last Monday I finally sen
d TJ a package full of stuff I had been collecting for months. Just random little things like candy, notes and other bigger things. My favorite item was the Spanish Book of Mormon that I got him. He has always wanted to learn Spanish but he did not get send to a Spanish speaking mission, so I thought he could learn a bit reading his scriptures. I marked all my favorite scriptures with different colors, stickers and notes on the sides. I also wrote my testimony in Spanish in the front and wrote a translation of it specially for him. It took me forever to work on it, but I was very happy with it when I was done.
When I went to
Spain last April, my mom and I picked a really cute tie for him. It has a shinny pink color that I love, cause its my favorite color an it just reminds me of our last dance. I included the tie and I also baked him cookies. I was worried the cookies would be hard as rock by the time he got them, but Alyssa's mom told me to freeze them first and then send them. TJ told me today that the cookies were still good when he got them so I was way happy. At least all my work wasn't for nothing. I don't cook very often haha

Small little blessings of life

This weekend I went back to salt lake for the weekend, so I could take care of some stuff. It was a really good weekend full of great things.
Friday night I went to
a party at my friend Raoul's house. He

is moving back to France soon, so we decided to have a last minute party. There weren't many people there but it ended up being lots of fun. We just chilled, listen to music and tried to sing songs along with the guitar. We sucked at singing btw. I laughed my butt off! Raoul gave me his guitar so now I can teach myself! I love that guitar so much! I called it Leonor, just cause it felt like a good name for it. I can't wait until I can actually play a real song on it.
Saturday, Hanna and I went to my favorite restaurant in the gateway. Tucanos!! Its a Brazilian restaurant that serves

a bunch of good meat. I had been living like a vegetarian for about three weeks, so I was craving meat like crazy. I think I ate my weight in meat, but I felt great afterward, just really full. Now I can go vegetarian for three weeks again hahaha

After Tucanos we went to the Salt Lake Temple and did baptisms for the death. It was an awesome feeling to be in the house of the Lord and feel the Spirit in his house and in my body. Its just something so incredible! Its like the whole world outside disappears for a small moment and nothing can hurt you.
I have a testimony about the temple and I can't wait for the day I find the right guy for me and I can get sealed to him for all and eternity in a place like that.

Sunday I went to my old singles ward and it was great to see everyone again. I kinda really miss LDSBC. Good old little school where u know pretty much everyone.
After church I had to pack like crazy and I was so worri
ed about not forgetting anything that I left the door open en all the lights on. That is just something I would do!
It was a great weekend and I want my friends to know that
Im thankful for their example and their sweet spirits. Thanks for making my life better by being part of it. Love you all so much!!

Random stuff that have happened lately...

New Job

As u guys already know I moved to Morgan about 2 weeks ago to work up here for the summer. I am living with my friend Alyssa Workman and her family and I am working at their ranch called Tifie. I try to work about 10 hours everyday so I can have enough money to pay for school at the end of this summer ya know.
So far, I freaking love this place. I get very tired at the end of everyday of course, but I enjoy working outdoors. I get to play with the 4wheelers, and all the tools. My mom calls it man work cause its hard work sometimes. Im starting to get all sore everywhere. Hopefully my body will get used to it soon.
I had almost forgotten how much I love
Morgan, UT. This place is very green it is so nice to breath fresh air everyday. The only bad thing is that I have to work in the rain most of the days. The weather is crazy up here. It can be sunny for an hour and then rain and so on...

Most of the days I get to work with a guy called Garret. He is a year younger than me and I know him from high school. We get along most of the time and I enjoy working with him. My manager's name is Rob. He is a funny guy. He makes fun of me most of the time but I think we have a good friendship going on.

Healthier living

Since I came up here I have been eating so much better. It is so nice to have some kind of parents looking after you. It feels nice to have all kinds of food and soy milk in the refrigerator everyday, and to be able to eat whatever u want whenever u want.
I also have been working out 3 times a week and my body just feels so much better. I am way out of shape of course, but hopefully by the end of the summer I will be able to run for 30 min without almost dying haha :)
Working 10 hours a day, 5 days a week makes me very tired so I try to go to bed around 10 pm. I have found out that going to bed early and waking up early works so much better for me.

Learning new things

I have had the opportunity to have a bunch of new experiences. I get to work with a lot of different things up in the ranch. They let me drive the 4wheelers and ranger almost everyday and that makes me very happy. I have learned how to use a bow and an arrow the right way. I got to mow the lawn for the first time in my life yesterday and i felt like the machine was stronger than me. I got to play paintball and it hurt very much but I had a blast.
I am learning how to live like a vegetarian and to be honest it is not that bad. I love meat of course, but I have realized that I don't need to eat it that often.
Besides those things, there are a bunch of other little things that make my day special.

Missing Salt Lake

The time seems to go so fast up here. Maybe it is because I work everyday and don't have time to really worry about the rest of the world.
It is weird not to see my friends everyday or not to live in a hotel anymore. I kinda miss the random walks around temple square and the talks with Hanna banana. It feels weird to think that while I am here working, my friends are going to school, or doing homework.
It is fun to disconnect from the real world for a while. I think I am going to enjoy my summer very much.

The story of my life really fast... :)

So... Where should I start?
I was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on February 09, 1990. I am the daugther of Benjamin and Gladys Rosema and as an only child my parents mean the world to me. I really wonder what I would do without them.

When I was 11 my dad decided that we needed to move to Holland (cause he is dutch and all his family is up there). December of 2001, my parents and I moved to a small town in HollandOss. It was a culture shock at the beginning cause I had to learn dutch and go to a middle school where I was the only dark haired-tan looking girl. It was an amazing, but also a very weird experience. I met a bunch of good people up there. Holland is the place where I figured out who I really was and where I got to know myself the best. called

In the summer of 2005 my mom decided that she didn't want to be in Holland anymore so my family had to move to Gandia, Spain. After 4 years I was finally used to Holland, so I got really upset when my parents told me we were moving again. Ow well... I got used to Spain and learned to love that place. I really miss the beach, the food, and my friends.

As much as I loved Spain, I just felt like that wasn't the place I was supposed to be at. So after a lot of begging and help from the Lord I convinced my parents to let me move to Morgan,Utah. After a long summer, on September 2nd of 2008 I moved to the house of the Porters. They became my host family. They became my host family during my senior year of high school. They are my "Utah family" and I love them to death.

I graduated from Morgan High with the class of 2008. After graduating I went back to Spain for the summer and worked full-time for about 3 months. When I moved back to the states I had to start a new life and make a bunch of new friends again. I was the only one in my graduating class going to LDS Business College. I had to leave the warm welcoming house of the Porters and move to the Plaza hotel. That is where the girl dorms of LDSBC are.

To be honest I had to get used to living by myself, making my own food and having to deal with a roommate. The whole college world turned out to be full of new experiences that have thought me a lot of good lessons. Fall semester I lived in room 509 and my roommate was Tiffany Leishman. We had a bunch of fun together and I was very sad when she decided to move to BYU-ID. Fall semester was crazy and full of drama, so I was very happy when it ended. Winter semester I decided to take things slower and focus

more on school and work, so things were way better.

I can't believe the school year went so fast and its summer again. I moved to Morgan, UT again last week. Im living with one of my good friends Alyssa Workman. She graduated a week ago and that is when I decided to move for the summer with her family. Her mom offered me a job at their ranch and I thought it was a good idea. I needed a full-time job and being back at Morgan just seemed like the perfect idea...
